The Ryland Caravan 2024

Our annual festival returns

As part of my role as 1/6th of the band Independent Country, I’m really pleased to have announced the 2024 instance of our mini-festival, The Ryand Caravan. It’ll take place on Saturday 8th June, once again in the outdoor theatre of the Midlands Arts Centre (MAC).

This will be the second year we have operated the festival, following the inaugural event last summer. This year, we’ve got Indie legends CUD as our headliners. We’ve also managed to get Dexy Midnight Runner and now solo artist, Pete Williams, to play a set.

As with the first event last year, which featured a headline set from Teenage Fanclub’s Gerry Love, we are in the lucky and strange position of putting together a bill that our teenage selves would find scarcely believable, sharing a stage with artists we love.

Full details of the event, which also features sets from Brian Lightning, R John Webb, Tilda Gebhardt and The Bitter Lemons, is available on the MAC website.
